RE: Re: All CBLF Parents To be completely honest, I don't care if my son's team wins or loses as long as he plays the best he can. He gets rewarded for number of sacks, tackles, good blocks, and how many people he knocks on their butt, whether his team wins or loses. My team is in the booster league to get playing time for Jr. High and high school where he will get to show his skills and his size to more people. The point is let the kids play, because this might be the only time they will shine on the field. Besides, does anyone really remember who won the CBFL championships 10, 15, 20, or 25 years ago? The league doesn't care or they would have the champs listed from the first year of existence to the current year on their website.
Exactly...the kids do not care who or what there parents are squabbling about. They just want to play, so why not let them. This is not only some of the best times or their lives, but ours as well. We as parents know how precious this time is, once it is gone we can never get it back. So, why not try something new this year, be there for the kids and only the kids. Who cares whether you win or loss, teach your children that having fun is the most important aspect of this game. Just because your child is playing on a team that you oppose to does not mean that child should feel that. In the end these children will eventually all be together in one school, teach them acceptance now, so they are prepared to handle more adult situations later in life.
RE: Dunbar Parents DL&V equals Dickerson Run, Liberty, & Vanderbilt was the original Tri-Town. I didn't know they began considering Dawson a part of "Tri-Town" or not. It wasn't 30 years ago when I grew up down there.
DL&V is the fire dept. in Vanderbilt and does represent those areas you mentioned but Dawson was always part of the Tri-Town area.
RE: Millionaire Democrats Squash Middle Class You Republicans have not one qualified candidate to run....they all have skeletons in their closets.Old Newt....the wife cheater! LOL The DINGY Palin, too old McCain. Don't worry, the wars will be over by 2012 and the economy will be booming and Obama will be re-elected.
Don't you mean good old "My Wife Has Cancer, so I will mess with my secretary" Edwards? Isn't he a democrat? Or Hillary "They were shooting at me on the tarmac" Clinton? Or ba'rock Hussein "it ain't my fault" boobama? Or maybe Dianne "only rich democrats should be allowed to own guns" Feinstein? Or perhaps Barbara "My life is worth more than the citizens" Boxer? Yeah, let's go with those rights stealing democrats. I would say good choice, but you don't choose, you just pull the D lever. It's a good thing the county democrats give hands you a card with a picture of a lever with the letter D on it outside of your polling place or you would really be confused.

Re: All CBLF Parents My son is a first year player for Tri Town, and his team won Saturday. That is what this is about...THE KIDS! I am new so am not real sure what happened in the past, and honestly I really do not care to know. I am there for my son, and not to listen to people complain about this or that. The kids do not care who or what we are arguing about, they just want to play. So being that we are the adults, let them play. Go out and support your child and his team, and leave it at that. I would like to personally congratulate all the teams that played on Saturday. They all did a great job!

that. I think that is far from the way the country is headed . If indeed those current wars are over ,there will be new ones we get dragged into. Foreign countries will own most of our debt and will start collecting . And the economy will be worse and not even close to booming unless the main stream media makes it appear that way for their candidate again.
RE: Millionaire Democrats Squash Middle Class They are allowing several tax cuts to expire which is the same as raising taxes. They will begin taxing some employer provided healthcare benefits, they will be eliminating child tax credits and other credits that middle class working families rely upon. Thanks to you and voters of your ilk, the middle class will be eliminated before a new president can take over on 1/20/2013. Obama, the one hit wonder, like Carter! Now say that real quick like this "Obama, the one hit wonda, like Carta!" and it sounds so hip and progressive.

RE: Dunbar Parents It looks like the Tritown abuse button clickers are online. Anyone who thinks what they and the league did to the kids last year will get clicked abuse and get erased. Let's see how long it takes the losers to remove this one. You are a bunch of cowards. Tri-town actively recruits kids from outside of the CASD and it is wrong. CBFL should be for CASD kids only. Besides, the Tri-town coaches suck. Look how bad they lost Saturday. It's not the kids' fault. It's the coaches' fault. I wouldn't send my kid to GCC just so he could play. I guarantee the league president's kid gets the league scholarship even thought they took him out of CASD. Oh, and I can play the abuse button game, too, even though I clicked keep before for Ed, for some reason I get a lot of votes.
Congratulations to the kids on the Bullskin, ICV, and Dunbar Jr and Sr. teams for providing 6 great games and fantastic wins over the weekend. This should be a very interesting season. Let's hope nothing happens off the field to keep any team out of the playoffs. A prediction? Jr. Championship: Bullskin or ICV vs Dunbar and Sr Championship: ICV vs. Dunbar. Just my opinion as an old man who lives near by and likes to watch from my deck. Hopefully, the rest of the season is as entertaining.
Does anyone know of a good lawyer I could hire? I am tired of working, so I need a good lawyer to sue someone for me, so I can quit my job, so I can have a lot of time on my hands to spend more time with my kids and maybe take up coaching youth football. Thanks in advance.

Dunbar has kids from Uniontown which are recruited by Coach Lloyd Williams. For those that have no clue, part of Dawson is Frazier School District and part of Vanderbilt is Uniontown School District. Also, I don't think ANYONE should be talking about any specific children on here. Not appropriate behavior for adults in my book.
RE: Dunbar Parents It's OK. We all know where your head is. Make sure the prez doesn't stop too fast or you might need to call DL&V to bring the jaws of life to pull your head out of his ass.
Thats funny...no time to play on the computer, but just wanted to make a point. Just heard about the Cville Discuss. I'm not in the child state of mind - no time to play games with you! Have fun entertaining yourself!

and a Tritown abuse button clicker. This needs to stop. There has been rivalry for years. A few of the Mules parents carry on and make the rest of us look bad. Getting on this discussion board to make attacks on other adults is childish. Is this the example you want to set for your kids? Its not the example I want set for mine. Which is why I walked away from the meeting the other day. It was ridiculous and I did not want my kids to witness anymore of it. I guess you could argue if everything Tritown does are examples they want set for their children, but that is irrelevant. You are responsible for the raising of your children. You can't control the behavior of others, but you are their biggest role model, so you need only to worry about yourself. Would you be proud for them to see what you are doing on here to other people? I would hope not. Before you click post, you should ask yourself if you would be proud for your kids to see what you just wrote. We parents need to set good examples for our children. These activities are supposed to be for THEM. How can they enjoy the activities when their parents are causing so much commotion and getting things taken away from them? Its really sad in my opinion.
Dunbar Parents Its time to grow up. Why is it the same dunbar parents crying about something stupid every year? Too much jealousy! Let the kids play and have fun like they have been for years!!!!!!!!! Must be the trouble makers that never went to school who always want to create drama.

RE: Dunbar Parents Wasn't it the league president and Tri-town coach who cried last year about Dunbar's senior teams quarterback? They said that he belonged on Tri-Town, instead of Dunbar, but he played for Dunbar for 4 or 5 years with the same address, so they disqualified the whole team, so the vice-president's South Connellsville team could have a chance to win the championship without Dunbar in the playoffs. And the funny thing is that I think the boy actually lived in Scottdale, so he could play on any team he wanted just like Tri-Town always has kids from Frazier, Uniontown, LH, Southmoreland, Yough, and kids from Monesson on their team. It's the Connellsville Booster Football League, if you don't live in the Connellsville District, then you shouldn't be playing.
