I run Fay-Penn, Cathy. The proceeds from that dinner after expenses go to a scholarship fund for Fayette County residents pursuing training in the "trades" -- CNC machining, welding, even CNAs and CDLs. At our 2016 annual dinner, we even had two contributors of $25K each in addition to the dinner proceeds going to that scholarship. The goal is to get the fund to a level where we can realistically withdraw $10K per year to distribute in scholarships without drawing down the principal. Perhaps you'd like to make a contribution? If you have other questions, don't hesitate to ask.
